Twice per year we organise a sailing voyage to Italy, in order to transport & promote premium Greek products to Genoa & La Spezia. The voyage is organized in collaboration with the local communities Slow Food La Spezia (IT), Slow Food Lugano (CH) and Siga - Siga (CH, GE). Some of the products travel to Germany and Switzerland by electric means. Our goal is to raise awareness about low-carbon maritime transport in the Mediterranean ports and at the same time to promote the products of small producers in new markets abroad, enhancing their sustainability. The trip lasts 1 - 1.5 months depending on the weather conditions and includes a short tour of the Aegean, a small tour of the Ionian islands and stops to Italian harbours.
