Aegean Cargo Sailing is the project managed by the Social Cooperative Enterprise AEGEAN SAILS (Koinsep ISTIA AIGAIOU) that harnesses the wind to sail among islands transporting local products in the Aegean and the Mediterranean. Our mission is to raise awareness of the importance of protecting our marine environment and to promote fair, ecological trade. All donations go towards research into expanding sustainable agriculture and land transport in the islands, back office operations, lectures in schools and environmental organisations and international networking (exhibitions, contests, sail cargo meetings).
