🌊 Aegean Cargo Sailing at the Grand Pavois – Among the Sails of the Future

As the sea breeze carries the scent of salt and varnish across La Rochelle’s Minimes Marina, our stand is taking shape  nestled right beside the graceful sailboats that embody the spirit of sustainable navigation. The Grand Pavois is coming alive, and Aegean Cargo Sailing is proud to be part of this inspiring forest of masts, sails, and shared ambition.

The Grand Pavois La Rochelle is not just one of Europe’s largest in-water boat shows  it’s a celebration of maritime culture, craftsmanship, and innovation. For us, it’s also a meeting point between tradition and transformation: a chance to show how sailing, one of humanity’s oldest means of transport, can become a force for a greener, fairer future.

At our stand, we’re preparing to share our story  how Aegean Cargo Sailing is building a network of zero-emission trade routes across the Aegean Sea, connecting islands, artisans, and sustainable producers. We transport local wines, olive oils, herbs, and crafts by sail, honoring both the sea and the people who depend on it.

This year, being set right next to the sailboats in the Marina of Les Minimes feels especially symbolic. Around us, the sleek lines of sailing vessels tell a story of possibility that wind, patience, and skill can once again move goods across waters with purpose and respect for the planet.

As the forest of stands around us grows, so does our excitement. Soon, visitors will wander the docks, drawn by the creak of rigging and the shimmer of sunlight on hulls. We’ll be there to welcome them to talk about fair transport, island economies, and the future of clean sailing.
