After months of sailing across the Cyclades, delivering local goods, mapping eco-routes, and engaging with island communities, PELAGO has entered maintenance mode at Lavrion Port.

This is not the end of the journey—it’s part of it.

⚓ Why Lavrion?

Lavrion is more than just a port. It’s a historic maritime hub, a place where ancient trade routes once converged and where today’s sailors still come to rest, refit, and recalibrate.

For us, Lavrion offers:

• Access to trusted technicians and specialized sailboat services

• Dry dock availability, if needed

• A chance to step ashore, reflect, and prepare for the next phase

🧰 What’s being done?

Our maintenance checklist includes:

• Inspecting and repairing rigging, sails, and hull

• Checking the electrical systems and solar panels

• Refreshing safety gear and navigation tools

• Reorganizing cargo storage for upcoming routes

We’re also taking time to upgrade our onboard documentation and educational materials, so future visitors and partners can learn more about the project when they step aboard.
