The olives, hand-harvested and cured with patience and skill, reflect the deep-rooted agricultural tradition of the Markou family. Rich in flavor and history, these olives are more than a delicacy—they’re a taste of Samos itself.
From the family grove to the deck of PELAGO, each container is carefully stowed for its journey across the Aegean. Powered solely by wind, this voyage brings together two islands through slow, sustainable logistics—just as it should be.
Soon, these olives will arrive at Kantina, where they’ll meet the creative hands of the kitchen and the curious palates of summer travelers. A journey from grove to plate, by way of sail and sea.
